As with all our systems, this model is based on proven CARIO standard components.
A key difference compared to our benchtop dosing unit is the use of a Siemens "OP17 DP" operator panel and an external central processing unit (CPU) with additional modules, offering a wide range of expansion options and flexibility. This setup provides the necessary infrastructure to control the additional functions and peripheral components required for automation. It also enables the implementation of high-performance interfaces—for example, to external control systems such as production lines or robots.
Another advantage of this control concept lies in the drives for the gear metering pumps, which ensure absolute dosing precision; these are designed as positioning drives with PROFIBUS control. This ensures highly reproducible positioning accuracy—approximately 0.002 angular degrees—across the entire range of variably configurable dosing outputs.
